Chart notes
GRANTED SUCCESS was the first out of the gate to take the early lead, lost ground in the first turn but was able to hold onto the lead five wide, drifted out in the stretch to give way to inside foe but was able to come again late for a narrow win. HARVARD gained along the outside of the first turn to race behind the pace six wide, saved ground in the far turn, took command at the final furlong but got nailed at the wire. MR. HUSTLE rated three wide, angled toward the outside of the stretch to rally, carried out by drifting foe late in the stretch. ZIPPER ZAPPER raced behind the pace four wide, made no bid. FUNKENSTEIN saved ground in the first turn to race behind the pace on the inside, retreated at the three eighths, passed tired foe. BANDERO vied for the early lead along the inside, began retreating at the three eighths. YOU KIDDING ME rank in the first turn, trailed for the rest.
