Chart notes
RUNAWAY JACK settled back to trail early, made an outside bid at the quarter pole to surge past foes in the stretch. FIGHTERTOWN settled off the pace in the three path, made a four wide bid in the turn to contest the lead entering the stretch, up for place late. PACO THE TACO MAN raced behind the pace on the inside, kept the rail going into the stretch to duel foes, began to pull away in the final furlong but weakened late. DEVIL'S CAY raced behind the pace four wide, challenged the pace at the top of the stretch to duel between rivals, weakened in the final furlong. EXCITABLE BOY vied for control with rival up the backstretch and turn but ultimately gave way at the quarter, angled out in the stretch but came up empty. ALTOBELLI vied for the early lead, retreated at the quarter.
