Chart notes
EPIC RIDE was quick to take the lead, set the pace near the inside, kicked clear when asked, held sway while being kept to task. LAGYNOS settled into stride racing mid-pack outside early on the turn, went four to five wide starting to advance leaving that bend, gained the place, was second best. BEACH GOLD stalked the eventual winner from outside racing three to four wide, was outkicked for the place but kept on well enough to save show honors. BRILLIANT BERTI was unhurried inside off the pace, came out seven wide turning for home, gained late. MAJOR DUDE settled off the pace near the inside, improved up the rail in late stretch. ST ANTHONY was off the pace three to four wide, swung six deep, kicked on mildly late. POINT LYNAS (IRE) stalked in behind three to four wide, ran on evenly in the stretch. GOLIAD was forwardly-placed tracking inside, came out a few paths leaving the turn, weakened in the stretch. AIR RECRUIT chased from between runners mid-pack racing two to four wide, shifted in a bit in the stretch, failed to menace. SWIFT DELIVERY was unhurried at the back, saved ground on the turn inside, came out late on that bend, was six wide in the stretch, ran on without threatening. CAIRO (IRE) chased near the inside, was mostly two to three wide, retreated. SPIRIT OF ST LOUIS was outpaced early, moved out five wide past the three-eighth and was ridden along soon after, had no late response. STEAL SUNSHINE lacked early speed, was outside foes four to six deep through the turn, was never a threat.
