Chart notes
PLENSA settled off the early pace racing in hand, raced near the inside through the far turn, angled out near the quarter pole and surged up under strong handling. GIOCOSO rated back under a snug hold, raced near the inside through the far turn, eased out to race two to three wide into the upper stretch to take aim at Rolando, cleared off near the three sixteenths pole but couldn't hold off the winner late in a game effort. NAMARON (GER) settled early on racing in hand, saved ground through the far turn into the lane, shifted out five wide near the quarter pole and finished gamely to the wire. LAYABOUT dropped back to race with the second flight, was four wide near the three eighths pole and rallied racing from the outside through the stretch run to move up. CLEVER AGAIN dropped to race off the early going, raced three wide through the far turn and moved up mildly to improve position racing five wide. FORGED STEEL stalked the pace, racing near the rail in the drive and needed more. NATIVE RUNNER dropped back to near the back early on, raced from the inside into the upper stretch and had not enough. TIZ DASHING raced mid pack early, was four to five wide through the far turn and had no late run. ROLANDO showed good early speed, collared near the three sixteenths pole and faded. NEW CENTURY (GB) stalked the pace, raced four to five wide into the upper lane and weakened. CAPITOL HILL raced with the second flight early, was four to five wide through the far turn and had no response. SIESTA KEY settled early on, raced four wide through the far turn and failed to threaten. ANEGADA prompt the early leader two to three wide from the outside and gave way. REACH FOR THE ROSE broke awkwardly, lost ground to race far back, was pulled up and walked off the track under his own power.
