KANOJO settled in hand after the start and raced two wide around the first turn, stalked three wide up the backstretch then advanced to engage ELLL E for the lead entering the far turn, shook free still in hand leaving the quarter pole, swung three wide entering the lane, shown the whip a few times but never used and finished ridden out to an easy score. ELLLL E sped to the lead soon after the start and led the way around the first turn, continued to set the pace along the inside up the backstretch, took on the challenge of KANOJO with three furlongs left to run, vied briefly, failed to move on with eventual winner late on the far turn but sustained a steady bid through the lane and finished clearly second best. C'MON LUCKY stumbled awkwardly at the start and raced in the back, continued reserved in the back to the far turn, came four wide into the upper stretch and gained a share. GLAD VON D raced up close around the first turn and continued forwardly placed up the backstretch, could not sustain bid entering the far turn and steadily retreated. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
