Chart notes
SHOTSHELL cleared the lead soon after the start and angled to the inside, set the pace with BLOW TORCH not far behind, held firm still unleashed around the far turn, cut the corner entering the lane, came off the inside, was under firm handling late and held on. CONTACT TRACING was allowed to settle around the first turn and rated off the top pair up the backstretch, edged closer then launched a bid late on the far turn, hustled along three wide into the upper stretch, ran on determinedly and was getting to winner late. CATEGORY TEN saved ground around the first turn then tracked the top pair up the backstretch, came under a ride a long the rail late on the far turn, sustained a steady inside bid through the lane and cleared a share. BLOW TORCH was forwardly placed around the first turn and prompted the pace up the backstretch, launched a two wide bid for the leader around the far turn, failed to keep pace past upper stretch and gave way. BOURBON LIFE settled off the early pace, was under an all out drive around the far turn, failed to progress and ran on evenly through the lane. IOWA HAWKEYE raced in the back and dropped far back in the lane. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
