Chart notes
JUSTA STREAK broke alertly, led the way then came under pressure from inside running SKALKAHO, vied briefly then shook free mid-way around the turn, hustled along two wide into the upper stretch, widened advantage past the furlong marker and held sway. KISSED A CADET was allowed to settle through early stages, raced two wide late on the turn, shifted three wide at the head of the lane and finished with good response. SKALKAHO advanced along the inside to challenge JUSTA STREAK for the early lead, could not move on with rival mid-way around the turn, launched a rail rebid at the head of the lane, continued in contention and held a share. ANNUAL BUDGET sat in good position tracking the top pair up the backstretch, remained forwardly placed around the turn, hustled along two wide in strong contention in the upper stretch then ran on evenly past the furlong marker. LATE FOR LUNCH raced off the early pace, hustled along three to four wide into the upper stretch and failed to threaten. FREDDY J raced in the back and had no response.
