ESKENFORARAISE was allowed to settle in the back through early stages, swung five paths wide entering the head of the lane, responded under right handed pressure, angled in while gaining ground and forged clear in the final sixteenth. AMY Z prompted the pace in opening stages then edged back into tracking position upon entering the turn, slipped through along the rail entering the head of the lane, roused forward to a clear lead then got overtaken late. GUNITE MAX tracked the top trio in early stages, edged closer late on the turn, fanned four wide entering the head of the lane, sustained a steady bid and gained show. MARITIME MILLIE prompted the pace in opening stages, advanced and dueled outside of NOW WE GO around the turn, ran on three wide into the lane and weakened late. NOW WE GO held a slim lead in opening stages, dueled inside of MARITIME MILLIE around the turn then tired in the drive. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
