Chart notes
STARSHIP BELMONT prompted the pace through the far turn gradually narrowing the gap, rallied at the quarter pole to take command in upper stretch and drew off convincingly. WHISPERING SEA set a well rated pace coming under mild pressure down the backside, continued on the lead through the final turn while challenged, could not match strides with the winner in the lane and finished willingly as second best. UPPITY UP stalked the pace from the inside with in striking distance to the quarter pole and lacked a closing bid running-on to hold the show in the lane. RED ELEANOR trailed to the far turn racing wide, angled in to save ground on the bend and passed weaker rivals in the lane without impact while angled well out in late stretch. LINNY KATE reserved off the pace through the first turn, ranced up to contention circling into the final bend and flattened out coming home unable to sustain the rally. CAT ONE raced in contention mid-pack down the backside, lacked a response when called upon on the far turn while racing between rivals three wide and came up empty dropping well off the field in the stretch.
