Chart notes
RED LEADER dueled inside under confident handling, turned back all challengers in upper stretch and pulled clear in the late stages. BLUE OCEAN RAVE broke well then ceded the lead to the dueling leaders, kept to task on the inside, and chased the winner to the wire. SHUDDER broke in the air but raced close up through the early stages, responded when put into a drive with three furlongs to run, loomed in mid-stretch but went a little flat in the late stages. MALIBU SANGRIA allowed to settle after the break, moved up three wide on the turn, then lacked a finish. MALIBU RAIN chased early while under a drive, came under the crop at the quarter pole, and finished up evenly while never a serious threat. ANGELA'S ANGEL lacked early speed and was being coaxed early to keep pace, dropped far back on the turn, then was kept to task and managed to pass one near the finish line. DORA'S STORM moved up after the break to duel with RED LEADER for the lead, remained engaged to upper stretch, then faltered.
