Chart notes
ALGEBRA settled two-deep through the early stages, tipped out five-wide for the stretch run and finished up well under steady handling and urging to get up in the final yards. BRAZEN NOW hustled to the front, dueled inside of TSUNAMI GOLD through the turn, got the inside path into the stretch, drifted out a path turning for home, gamely held on to a short lead through the stretch, but could not hold off the winner in the final yards. COASTAL FOG was four-wide down the backstretch, launched a bid from the three-furlong pole to be five-wide at the top of the stretch, loomed boldly but hung while racing on the left lead. AWESOME BID raced in mid-pack to the inside, lost ground on the turn, dropped to last, kept to the inside, kept to task, and split the field. LEWIS BERE (FR) settled three-wide early, moved up to bid for the lead approaching the quarter pole, was four-deep of the challengers at the top of the stretch, then was outfinished. BURNZ DA BOSS settled at the back of the compact field early, moved up three to four wide through the turn, came six-wide into the stretch, then was outfinished in the late stages. TSUNAMI GOLD dueled inside of BRAZEN NOW through the early stages, then tired in the stretch. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
