Chart notes
QUEREME PASS (ARG) set a contested pace inside, was roused passing the quarter, kicked on to edge clear passing the furlong grounds, and dug in late to hold off rivals on both sides. PRINCETOWN settled in the back of the pack in the two path, was roused between foes turning into the long stretch, angled out to the four path passing the quarter, and rallied late but just missed. ASPENITE stalked in the three path, was cued at the top of the long stretch, ran on to bid inside the final sixteenth, but was edged out on both sides late. SURF CITY bumped with an inner foe at the start, was held up along the inside early, got stymied in upper stretch, went around a tiring foe then tipped back towards the rail passing the quarter, and rallied late. PENTATHLON bumped with an outer foe at the start, then steady along the inside early, rated inside, was roused in the two path passing the three-eighths, kept on down the lane, but was out-kicked. YINZER pressed the pace in the two path, vied for the lead under coaxing passing the quarter, but faded in the final furlong. INNATELY GOOD trailed in the two path, was driven into the stretch, and stayed on to pass tired foes. CALYCANTHUS was wellback along the inside, roused from the rail at the top of the long stretch, but made no impact. DOMINICAN PIONEER tracked in the two path, was coaxed along in the three path passing the three-eighths pole, but weakened. PANCAKE HOUSE raced in midpack in the two path, was cued in the four path at the top of the stretch, but made no closing bid. TAKE ME TO CHURCH (IRE) prompted the pace in the two path early but gave way along the inside down the lane.
