Chart notes
QUATROCENTO soon led, dictated terms near the inside, was encouraged coming to the quarter pole and responded by opening up, held safe taken in hand late. NINEELEVENTURBO bumped with a rival at the start, shifted in, saved ground on the turn racing off the pace, moved out seeking room and split foes about the five-sixteenths, shifted back in near mid-stretch, rallied inside to secure the place. BIG BLUE LINE moved out off the rail racing near mid-pack two to three wide into the turn, came out four to five wide in upper stretch moving between foes, kept on to get the nod for show. GENERAL PARTNER bumped with a foe and was in tight at the start, unhurriedly raced outside at the rear, swung seven wide for the drive, kept on outside but missed show. SIGNATOR settled at the rear inside, angled nine wide nearing the furlong marker, kept on. GREEN LIGHT moved closer chasing four to five wide, weakened in the stretch. NOISES OFF was caught outside five to six wide early on the turn, took closer order late on that bend, weakened in the stretch. OTAGO tucked in three to four wide racing in behind the leaders, was never a threat. WHAT SAY THEE settled off the pace racing in between then behind mostly four to five wide, came out six deep for the drive, failed to rally. OSCAR ECLIPSE got away well, was stalking in behind off the rail two to three wide, moved nearer the fence on the turn, dropped back and faded. ARMY OFFICER was up close pressing briefly three to four wide, faltered and faded.
