SAPELLO RIDDLER hustled to get forward position early, dueled with CALL ME HOLLYWOOD through the turn, turned for home with a slight lead, then widened under steady handling. BYE BYE RUSS tracked about five-wide down the backstretch, then three-wide through the turn, launched a bid with three furlongs to run, was never getting to the winner and kept on with a grinding finish to gain the place. GREEN IS THE DADDY away well, was always prominent, kept to task late, and finished evenly. CALL ME HOLLYWOOD broke well, pressed then dueled outside of SAPELLO RIDDLER through the turn, had trouble changing leads in the stretch, and faltered. RAIL RUNNER was the distant trailer, then ran on some late to pass tired foes and managed to split the field. AMERICAN KNIGHT outpaced early, was in a drive shortly after the start, chased through the turn, got an inside run, but could not sustain the bid. SGT MUSKETT settled close up inside, started to lose ground with three furlongs to run, then had little to offer in the stretch. KENTUCKY WILDMAN shuffled back after the start, dropped far behind on the backstretch run, kept to the inside, and managed to pass a few tired rivals in the stretch. RAPPING RUMOR settled well off the pace, then had to be ridden hard to keep up on the turn but did nto respond. SLEEPY EYES pulled to be up close through the early stages, went five-wide into the stretch and stopped. BOLD MONEY got crowded at the start, then moved up into contention near the five-furlong pole, then retreated through the turn and slowed to a canter in the stretch. SPARKIEINFRONT got a level start, raced mid-pack down the backstretch, lost contact with the field going into the turn, and was eased to the finish. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
