Chart notes
TUN TAVERN sent to assume early command, showed speed and set the pace from the inside to the quarter marker, held a clear lead to upper stretch, kept to task to the final sixteenth and held sway to the wire. I JUST DON'T NO settled in the second flight early on, rallied three to four wide to the stretch, could not muster a final response and just held for second. CUE COUNTRY ROADS lacked early speed, advanced three wide along the turn, swung to the five path into upper stretch, closed willingly through the final sixteenth and just missed for second. CUPIX broke awkwardly, recovered and chased two wide to the quarter marker, advanced four wide into the stretch, could not sustain his run to the final sixteenth and finished evenly. KOHAKU pressed the early pace from the outside, chased four wide into the turn, was outkicked three wide into upper stretch and faltered in the drive. STRIKE PRICE pressed the early pace from the inside, took back approaching the turn then chased from the rail heading to the top of the stretch, lacked a response in the drive and weakened in the final furlong. HAVEGUNSWILLTRAVEL hustled away from the start, chased between rivals and two to three wide to the turn, ran in pursuit to upper stretch then gave way in the final furlong. WILDERZAR lacked early speed and trailed throughout.
