Chart notes
COLONIAL ROSE broke outwardly, tracked from the four path, ranged up to bid outside of the clear leader reaching the lane, vied before forging an advantage entering midstretch and drove clear. MISS ELLARY set a clear pace in the two path, but was collared by an outer bidder in upper stretch, proved no match in the final furlong and was second best. COLORMECAIRO laid off of the pace along the inside, tipped to the three path to bid for show in upper stretch and held that position from an inner challenger. WITS AND WAGERS lacked speed along the inside, stayed on in the two path to offer an inside bid for show at the sixteenth pole but was fended off. LADY LALA pursued from midpack in the three path, moved out to the five path into upper stretch and lacked a gain. MAD ABOUT MARIE stalked along the inside, chased into upper stretch and faded. RANDO bobbled subtly and was floated out at the start, raced at the rear in the three path, swung out to the six path into upper stretch and failed to menace. FOURFIFTYSEVEN lacked speed in the five path, retreated to trail while tucking to the four path into the lane and made little impact. SHE'S NOT A JOKE chased forwardly in the three path, but faded between horses turning for home and weakened.
