Chart notes
COMMANDO JOE was reserved early, moved up three-wide nearing the quarter pole, came four-wide into the stretch then took the lead nearing the eighth pole and gradually drew clear. DOSSIER saved ground setting the pace, drifted out to be two-wide entering the stretch, was unable to resist the winner but held on well for second. LAST ROO prompted DOSSIER early from along the outside and weakened. DEVILS GOTTA GO raced in the back of the field, came four-wide into the stretch and rallied late. CHAMBERS BAY saved ground chasing the pace for three furlongs and tired.
