Chart notes
P J'S SONG stalked the dueling pacesetting trio down the backside, steadily gained on the leader closing the gap, continued a steady advance and wore the tiring pacesetter down in deep stretch to assume command and go clear late. NANCY MADE MY DAY dueled on the lead from four wide down the backside setting a fast pace, kicked away on the turn, held a clear lead to mid-stretch and tired in the final furlong to surrender the lead a victim of the early fractions. PROM KNIGHT rated in mid-pack through the turn, rallied in the stretch and was gaining late in the lane narrowing the margin as best of the rest. MEAN TWEETS was slow early racing near the rear of the field and made a steady gain in the lane to garner a minor award. HELLO SUNSHINE broke well wide, straighthened away to angle back in, and showed some late interest. LEVEL UP passed weaker rivals in the stretch without impact. MAHOMES MONEY dueled on the fast pace from between rivals to the five-sixteenths pole and gave way. GHOST STALKER was not a factor. MAKIZAN dueled on the rapid pace from the rail to midway on the turn and came up empty.
