FOOTHILLS BLVD. settled off the early pace while racing two out from the rail through the stretch the first time, maintained her position in the run down the backside, launched her bid three wide entering the final turn, took control soon after entering the lane, and held PINEAPPLE TIDBITS safely at bay late to prevail. PINEAPPLE TIDBITS unhurried early while settling well off the early pace entering the stretch the first time, bided her time near the back of the pack in the run down the backside, rallied smartly three wide entering the final turn, and closed determinedly four wide in the drive to get up for the place. ROSE OF TEXAS away alertly and battled from between rivals through the first turn, before easing into a tracking trip in the run to the second turn, held that trip in the run down the backside, rallied one out from the rail entering the final turn, and closed two wide in the drive to garner a share. ICE BREAKER settled off the early pave while racing one out from the rail through the stretch the first time, was bumped and jostled by PRINCESS ALESKA entering the second turn, rallied two wide entering the final turn, and finished evenly three wide in the drive. DON'TPASSTHEPEPPER broke sharply and pressed the pace three wide through the first turn, before assuming command and dropping to the rail passing the wire the first time, dictated the pace from along the rail in the run down the backstretch, held a narrow advantage into the final turn, but was outfinished in the late going. PRINCESS ALESKA settled well off the early pace while saving ground at the rail entering the stretch the first time, drifted off the rail slightly entering the second turn while making contact with ICE BREAKER, trailed the field in the run down the backstretch, and was never a serious factor. LOLA M away well and vied for the lead from along the rail through the stretch the first time, before easing into a tracking trip at the rail in the run to the second turn, held a striking trip in the run down the backside, but failed to respond when called upon.
