Chart notes
JOINT VENTURE caught four deep into and around first turn, stalked while three then two wide, roused into stretch, rallied between rivals from two path, gained lead at sixteenth marker and edged away. LOW EXPECTATIONS was hard to load settled bit off the rail, shifted out four then five wide around the last bend, came six wide into the stretch, reached the front from the outside in mid stretch but was out finished. DOO WOP DON was off a step slow, chased three to four wide, caught four wide at the far turn, came out further exiting the final turn, bid between rivals an eighth out and finished willingly. GREAT KING (FR) forced the pace while outside rival for opening half, gained lead passing three-eighths marker, came three wide into the lane and lost placing late. PASS THE BATON broke out, was three deep and between rivals on the initial turn, continued between foes, was bit tight pass half-mile marker, remained bit wide and lacked needed late response. FATHER DELAY between rivals on two path early, secured rail and moved up in middle stages, challenged from the fence at far turn but weakened in the drive. FIREMAN DAN chased along the rail, saved ground to the far turn, swung out three wide into the lane and faded. HAYWOOD was hustled to the front, dueled from inside, vied between rivals on the far turn and gave way.
