Chart notes
MAP'S A BREEZE tucked in early, saved ground off the pace, advanced still saving ground on the far turn, bid inside foes in the stretch near the sixteenth pole, held. GRANDSON settled at the rear off the inside, advanced inside a foe on the far turn moving out nine wide turning for home, rallied, just missed. POSSIBLEMENTE moved to the lead inside, set the pace facing outside pressure, faced a new challenger on the far turn, was just briefly headed by that one but dug in to regain the lead, edged away but was soon collared by others and proved no match for the top pair but best of the rest. FLY THE W tracked from inside a foe in the second flight, angled seven wide at the top of the stretch, ran on. POSTURING was between foes mostly two to three wide toward the rear, came out in the stretch, kept on but needed more. PIERRE stalked from outside just off the leading pair, moved from the three-eighths, bid near the quarter pole, faltered in mid-stretch. JIM'S HOPE was caught three to four wide outside foes early, failed to menace. TIZ ROMANTIC chased from mid-pack dropping back a bit between foes late up the backstretch, was never a threat. BACHELOR PAD had the early lead then pressed the new leader, was coaxed to keep up, dropped back on the far turn and gave way.
