Chart notes
BARTULIA set the pace under early pressure, opened a clear lead through the far turn, responded well in the lane when challenged and dug-in determinedly to hold late in a game effort. D'ORO LEMON unhurried to be the trailer in the compact field to the far turn, saved ground through the turn, cut the corner turning for home, rallied willingly up the fence to battle the winner in the final sixteenth and was denied in a good try. MAXIMUM FAITH prompted the pace for three-quarters, rallied at the head of the lane to loom in mid-stretch and failed to get passed hanging in the final furlong. VENIK went evenly without impact. RUNNINGFORJOY stalked the pace from four wide to the final bend, rallied to threated nearing the quarter pole and flattened out in upper stretch.
