BEYONDEXPECTATIONS controlled the pace, drifted out in the stretch under left handed whip carrying out rival and held on gamely. COME PRIMA settled off the pace, bid into the stretch, was carried out and just missed. SILHOUTTE COVE raced wide, steadied briefly nearing the sixteenth pole and altered course inside and went evenly late. L GOLDEN BOY raced close up inside then flattened out in the stretch. THE BOY'S WARRIOR prompted pacesetter outside then stopped after half mile. The stewards posted an inquiry into the stretch run of the race. The rider of the second finisher claimed foul against the first finisher for interference in the stretch. The objection was upheld and BEYONDEXPECTATIONS was disqualified and placed second. An objection by the third finisher against the first finisher for interference in the stretch was denied.
