VECTOR away well and dueled for the lead from the outside of PISCO entering the first turn, continued to force the issue from the outside of that rival in the run down the backside, rallied two wide entering the final turn while getting the better of his pace rival, opened a clear advantage into the lane, and held DEAL EM safely at bay late to prevail. DEAL EM tracked the leaders into the backstretch while racing two out from the rail, launched his bid three wide approaching the final turn, and finished determinedly two out from the rail in the drive in a solid effort. ROCKCLIFFE broke sharply and tracked the leaders from along the rail entering the backstretch, trailed the compact field into the final turn while racing one out from the rail, and finished with late interest four wide in the drive to get up for a share. PISCO away alertly and vied for the lead from along the rail entering the first turn, set a pressured pace from the inside of VECTOR in the run down the backside and into the final turn, struggled to keep pace with that rival through the turn, and faded in the late stages.
