Chart notes
BOLD ARCH away well and rushed to the lead entering the first turn, dictated the pace from along the rail in the run down the backstretch, repelled challenges from STANFORD BAY and STORMY BLUE entering the final turn, held a clear advantage entering the lane, and widened his margin late while under confident handling. EGOMANIA settled well off the early pacesetter while racing just out from the rail entering the backside, rallied along the inside entering the final turn, and found his best stride late while finishing four wide in deep stretch to get up for the place. STORMY BLUE broke sharply and tracked the leader into the backstretch while racing two out from the rail, continued to chase the leader three wide into the final turn, and finished along the inside in the drive to garner a share. MONEYSHOT unhurried early while dropping back to trail entering the backstretch, commenced his bid three wide entering the final turn, and finished with late interest five wide in the drive. STANFORD BAY away alertly and eased into a tracking spot from just off the rail entering the backstretch, kept pressure on the pacesetter two wide in the run down the backside and into the final turn, was unable to keep tabs on that rival leaving the turn, and faded in the late stages.
