Chart notes
HELIOO broke sharply, but settled off the contested early pace while racing two out from the rail entering the backstretch, commenced his bid three wide entering the final turn, and closed determinedly two wide in the drive to prove best. GENIE'S RIDE away alertly and vied for the lead from along the rail entering the first turn, continued to force the issue two wide in the run down the backside and into the final turn, shook clear of his pace rival entering the final turn, and gave way grudgingly late to prove second best in a solid effort. CHASE away well and stalked the dueling leaders into the backstretch while racing one out from the rail, rallied from along the rail through the final turn, and finished with late energy from along the inside in the drive. GIGI'S ADDICTION was pinched slightly at the start, and trailed the field into the first turn while saving ground at the rail, launched his bid two wide from the back of the pack entering the final turn, and improved his position over the final furlong, without seriously threatening. BLUE GRANITE lagged well off the early pace while racing two wide entering the backstretch, commenced his bid three wide entering the final turn, but lacked the needed closing response when called upon. COUNT DALIA rushed up between rivals entering the first turn, and forced the issue two wide from the outside of GENIE'S RIDE entering the first turn, continued to chase the pacesetter two wide in the run down the backside, was unable to keep tabs on his pace rival entering the final turn, and weakened over the final furlong.
