Chart notes
SNOWNAME was well rated on a well measured lead, responded when called upon to kick away turning for home and dug-in determinedly down the stretch to prevail holding the runner-up safe at the wire. TOP RECRUIT stalked the pace from the rail while well held off heels down the backside, lost position when rivals made ealry bids on the turn, rallied up the fence in the lane and surged in the final strides to just miss. VALENTINE BUG tracked the leader from betwen rivals on the bend, made a concerted bid midway on the bend to loom turning for home and could not close the gap in the stretch. CASHIER CHECK bobbled a step away from the gate, quickly recovered to be the trailer in a compact field, circled the pack turning for home and showed good late interest. ENJOY THE MUSIC was well placed just off the leader five wide in the clear, rallied turning for home to threaten midway down the lane and weakened in the final sixteenth.
