Chart notes
BOOTS MALONE sprinted to a narrow lead soon after the start, set a pressured pace down the backstretch, shook clear on the turn and won under brisk handling. DON'T STOP with the second flight two wide, had a mild late rally and finished second best. LUST FOR LIFE pressured the winner along the rail into the turn, kept on then was outfinished for second. PATRIARCHAL with the second flight, moved a bit closer two wide on the turn then failed to sustain that bid. SUSIE'S KID trailed into the the stretch then passed tiring rivals along the rail. RECKLESS L J stalked the pace three wide and failed to response. BIG BUCKSALOT failed to menace.
