Chart notes
THEDAYOFTHEGREY set a pressured pace two wide into the stretch, responded under right then left handed urging and drew off under strong handling. AUTHENTIC COWTOWN stalked the pace into the stretch, had a mild late rally three wide and finished second best. JOHN FITZGERALD close up early, dropped back on the turn then came on again late while five wide. AINT NO BANDLEADER with the second flight, went evenly four wide. TAHLEQUAH JOE pressured the winner along the inside into the stretch and faded late. RED CHIPS was no factor. COLONEL COOPER raced wide early and trailed.
