Chart notes
DIAMOND HEIST showed good speed from the break and made the front, pushed back when confronted by AL AMEEQ near the five-sixteenths marker, battled determinedly down the lane and prevailed in a gutsy effort. AL AMEEQ hustled from the start then ceded the lead to DIAMOND HEIST while settling into a stalking position, moved to engage near the five-sixteenths marker, turned for home with a narrow advantage but met a resurgent and determined foe to the inside, dueled gamely to the wire and just missed. MY MAN WOODY settled three-to-four wide, launched a bid late on the turn, loomed a threat to mid-stretch, but hung. DISTURBED outpaced from the start, bid four-wide into the stretch and finished well to improve. GRANTED SUCCESS raced mid-pack early on, moved up through the turn, then flattened out in the stretch. RUSSIAN HAMMER settled inside, weakened early on the turn, and had little to offer in the stretch. LIVING WATER stalked the pace close up to the inside, then tired in the stretch.
