Chart notes
MOMMA K'S BOY away alertly, gained a narrow lead two wide at the half mile marker, set a pressured pace into the stretch, responded readily under right handed urging, drew off before the furlong marker and won as much the best while taken in hand late. RED CHILI PEPPER stalked the early pace three wide, loomed boldly two wide nearing the quarter pole then was no match for the winner and held on for second. IT'SGOODTOBESEEN had a narrow lead inside the winner before a quarter mile, was in a bit tight entering the turn, shifted out then came on again late three wide. OLLIE'S FOLLY had speed along the rail, lacked room nearing the turn, checked past the seven sixteenths pole and lost momentum. GRAY DAY stalked the pace two wide into the stretch and lacked the needed response. THE STEWARDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN BUT TOOK NO ACTION.
