Chart notes
INCREDIBLE rated in mid-pack well off the runaway pacesetter to the far turn, commenced a steady advance on the bend, rapidly closed the gap in upper stretch and pulled away in the final eighth. NICOLE'S WILL sped to the lead into the first turn, opened a clear lead on the bend, widened the advantage down the backside, was still well clear at the quarter pole, shortened stride in upper stretch while on an ever diminishing lead and held on the palce having tired down the lane. RACHAEL'S WAGON tracked the pace from a distance to the far turn from five wide, angled in commencing a rally in upper stretch and found best stride late with a belated gain. CHANNEL KING was well placed along the inside in pursuit of the clear leader to be at the head of the pack gaining on the far turn and finished evenly lacking a kick in the lane. SHOOT THE WAVES passed weaker rival in the lane posing no threat. KING REIGERT chased the pacesetter to the far turn and came up empty. GRUIT was not a factor.
