Chart notes
HEN PARTY tracked the leaders from the fence through the turn, angled four wide splitting rivals turning for home to quickly challenge in mid-stretch and drew off in the final furlong while racing a bit greenly. INTIMATE prompted the pace to midway on the turn, rallied at the quarter pole to take a brief lead in upper stretch, was no match for the winner and finished willingly to hold the place. SUN KISS rated well in-hand racing mid-pack five wide, was set to a drive midway on the turn and put in a grinding bid through the lane to just miss the place. INTRICITY reserved off the pace, circled six wide on the turn to prominence and finished evenly. GEVALIA closed the gap showing some interest in the lane without impact. LIGHTNING LANE was not a threat. BROADWAY MUSICAL set the pace in the clear showing early speed, came under pressure on the turn, had no answer when challenged and dropped to the rear tiring in the lane.
