NIGHT NURSE broke alertly to take control from the gate, opened a clear advantage on the first turm. was well rated remaining clear through the far turn and was unchallenged in the stretch gearing down near the wire. INANNA'S QUEST rated in mid-pack racing between rivals to the far turn, rallied in a long drive midway on the final turn and finished willingly as second best. XERCES leapt at the start giving the field a couple lengths, remained unhurried at the rear of the field down the backisde, made a steady bid saving ground along the fence and was along for the show. HIGHLAND HOLIDAY tracked the leaders from the inside into the final turn and lacked a bid when called upon. ROCK TUNE stalked the pace for three-quarters and weakened coming home. OMIKAMI failed to menace posing no threat.
