Chart notes
SECRETARY OF WAR tracked the pacesetter to the far turn, rallied steadily on the bend to narrow the gap turning for home and wore that one down in the final strides. MEANT TO BE LUCKY set the pace on a clear lead while well held for the first half, maintained the advantage to upper stretch, began to weaken while all out in the final sixteenth and was caught in the shadow of the wire in a game try. FERRARI KID raced wide in the first turn in the abbreviated field, trailed while reserved down the backstretch, ralied on the far turn circling the field and rallied with a mild bid to be along for the show. CAMINO DE SANTIAGO went evenly failing to menace. WE CALLED SOL stalked the pace for a half mile and steadily gave way midway on the final turn.
