Chart notes
HIDING IN HONDURAS quickly raced up to take the lead shortly away from the gate, opened a clear advantage down the backside, repelled the bid of the runner-up leaving the quarter pole and drew off when called upon in upper stretch as much the best. YES I'M JESS stalked the pacesetter into the turn, rallied to challenge at the quarter pole, could not match the winner and ran-on willingly as second best. FUOCO tracked the leaders from five wide down the backstretch, commenced a steady bid rallying on the outside and finished well to be best of the rest. LUCEO NON URO was well place racing between rivals in striking distance through the turn and lacked a closing kick coming home. MUNTAGE reserved off the pace down the backside, closed the gap along the rail on the turn and finished evenly in the lane. SOUPER JUSTIFIED was not a threat. PHOENIX MOON raced in contention along the fence down the backside and came up empty on the turn.
