DEVILISH GRIN raced along the inside through the first turn before tipping three paths off the inside down the backstretch settled in mid pack, tipped four wide into the far turn and came under coaxing at the three-eighths and advanced on the front inside five-sixteenths to go, swung five wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive rallying to issue a challenge inside the final furlong, tussled with the runner up head to head through the final sixteenth and just got the nod on the wire. SALT PRINCESS raced three wide through the first turn, chased three to four wide from mid pack, came under encouragement at the five-sixteenths, spun three wide into upper stretch and took over command straightened away, had PAN PAN come out and was bumped askew nearing the eighth pole when that rival made contact with her hind end, shook off that foe confronted by the top one inside the final sixteenth and just lost the bob on the line. PAN PAN tracked the front just off the inside and then along the inside from just off the pace, came under coaxing near the quarter pole, spun from the two path into upper stretch, dug in under a drive coming out and bumping SALT PRINCESS in the hind end just outside the eighth pole, ran on to secure the show honors. RIVER EMPRESS got pinched out at the start, chased two to three wide coming under encouragement at the three-eighths marker, swung six wide into upper stretch and kicked on belatedly to the finish. IRTIQAA got bumped at the start by SPARKLING MAMA, raced along the inside and was forced to check off the heels of ROSE LISA when that rival rankly darted to the rail directly in front seven furlongs from home, lost about two lengths of ground in position, tracked along the inside and then just off the inside coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, took the inside route into upper stretch and offered up a mild kick. PRINCESS CELINE settled just off the inside at the tail of the field early on, came under encouragement three furlongs out, angled four to five wide into upper stretch, had DEFINING ROLE tip out and altered out a furlong out and bumped KAREY solidly into SMILING ROSIE, then passed tired rivals through to the finish. ROSE LISA pulled rank and eager early on darting to the inside and forcing IRTIQAA to check off her heels seven furlongs from home, tracked the pace along the inside under a ride from the five-sixteenths, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and weakened. KAREY raced just off the inside through the first turn and then chased three then four wide under urging from the three-eighths pole, angled six to seven wide into upper stretch, had PRINCESS CELINE come out and was bumped solidly by that rival and in turn bumped SMILING ROSIE, that rival clipping and bobbling heavily at the eighth pole, then weakened through to the wire. DEFINING ROLE got bumped at the start by SMILING ROSIE, who broke inwards, chased just off the inside under encouragement from three furlongs out, angled three to four wide into upper stretch, angled out a furlong out forcing PRINCESS CELINE to alter out, then tired through to the finish. SPARKLING MAMA coaxed from the gate, showed the way in hand along the inside coming under urging at the five-sixteenths, cut the corner into upper stretch, yielded the front straightened away and tired. LAST CALL JENNA chased three then two wide in closest aim of the leader, faded and came under coaxing near the quarter pole, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and faltered in the drive. SMILING ROSIE broke in at the start bumping DEFINING ROLE, chased just off the inside and then along the inside, angled out six to seven wide into upper stretch, got bumped a furlong out by KAREY due to pressure from PRINCESS CELINE altering out and clipped that foe and bobbled heavily, then got eased up through to the finish and was pulled up just after the wire, was attended to and vetted on track and transported off the course via the equine ambulance.
