RIVER'S GAMBLE outrun early, bid on the final turn and pulled away in the stretch under urging. CARCHAROTH engaged the pacesetter before half mile, led on the final turn, resisted then tired. KING DEIVYS far behind early, advanced inside to the stretch and rallied. GOD IS LIFE saved ground off the leaders and flattened out in the stretch. SHEER DOMINANCE trailed far behind then showed some late energy while no threat. GREAT COMPOSER sprinted clear opening quarter, was hooked before the half then gave way.
