Chart notes
STARSHIP BELMONT set the pace on a well measured, well rated clear lead, kicked away at the top of the lane and was unchallenged coming home as much the best. RED ELEANOR tracked the leader form four wide down the backside, commenced a steady rally midway on the turn and finished well to be second best. VANILLA BEAN was well place just off the pace along the fence, rallied approaching the quarter pole in a drive, cut the corner to be prominent, drifted out through the lane and finished evenly in the final furlong. LINNY KATE hesitated and lunged leaving the gate to give the field a half dozen legths and showed some late interest passing weaker. CAT ONE stalked the pacesetter to the far turn, ralied on the bend, could not match the winner and flattened out in upper stretch. DAME MAUDE CHARDIN was not a threat.
