Chart notes
SPAN OF CONTROL stalked the pace to midway on the turn, rallied at the quarter pole to engage the leader, took command in upper stretch and pulled clear to the wire. BRADITUDE set the pace on a clear early lead while well rated, responded when challenged by the winner battling to mid-stretch, was no match for that one and ran-on willingly. BEACH HOLIDAY slow early to be the trailer, rallied turning for home passed weaker rivals and was gaining on the runner-up late in the lane. DUEL FUEL tracked the leaders to the top of the lane and lacked a closing kick in the stretch. CAPTURETHELAUGHTER was not a threat.
