Chart notes
NO TAKE BACKS bumped EDIFICE when bearing out at the break, made the early lead, stayed near the inner rail and pulled away through the stretch under steady handling. SILVER PUNCH raced along the inner rail on the far turn, drifted out in upper stretch and finished willingly. EDIFICE , bumped and pinched back leaving the starting gate, circled the far turn three wide, was angled in near the three sixteenths pole and flattened out. TKAC lacked speed, raced inside horses around the far turn, stayed off the inner rail through the stretch and failed to sustain his bid. ENDOW , four wide the first turn, was no factor. PRINCE LANCELOT was outrun. FUNSTRUCK four wide both turns, gave way. PORT PARTY prompted the pace outside the winner and faltered. DISCOMBOBULAATOR raced along the inner rail on the backstretch and faltered.
