Chart notes
STARSHIP EMPIRE tracked the leaders from the inside into the far turn, saved ground while steadily advancing on the bend, split rivals from three wide at the top of the lane and drew off down the stretch. CURLINGTON reserved off the pace at the rear of the field down the backstretch, rallied circling the field turning for home and mounted a grinidng bid along the outside to be up for the place. BRILLIANT JOURNEY dueled on the leadfrom four wide for a half mile, took command on the fianl turn to open a clear lead and weakened coming home. R ADMIRAL vied on the pace for the first half, settled to stalk the leader into the turn and ran-on evenly. THE BEST DISTANCE stalked the pace to be be well placed into the far turn and failed to respond when called upon fading to the rear. LINO'S KID chased the pace for a half, dropped back on the turn, was eased through the lane having bled and walked off.
