Chart notes
CASCADE BILLY away well and tracked the leaders into the backstretch while racing one out from the rail, launched his bid three wide entering the final turn, and closed determinedly two out from the rail in the drive to get up in time. OUR BLOKE broke sharply and dueled for the lead from the outside of PARKER POINT entering the first turn, continued to force the issue in the run down the backside, and from between rivals through the final turn, and closed willingly two wide in the drive to just miss. PARKER POINT away alertly and vied for the lead from along the rail entering the first turn, set a pressured pace in the run down the backstretch and through the final turn, held the narrowest of advantages into the lane, and gave way grudgingly late. SOMTHING ELUSIVE stalked the leaders into the backstretch while racing two out from the rail, rallied willingly three wide entering the final turn, and was gaining late four wide in the drive. TIME TICKER unhurried early while lagging well behind the field in the run to the first turn, bided his time well off the contested pace in the run down the backstretch, rallied from along the inside from the back of the pack entering the final turn, and finished full of run two wide in the drive. FRASER LANDING tracked the leaders from along the rail while under a tight hold in the run to the first turn, continued while in tight quarters in the run down the backside, rallied along the inside entering the final turn, and finished three wide in the drive while unable to mount a serious late bid.
