Chart notes
PROTONIC POWER unhurried from the break, moved to the rail before the first turn, was content to trail through the early stages, then made a mild advance through the turn, got a fortunate opening on the rail into the lane, came off the rail in mid-stretch, then responded to strong handling and intermittent urging, wore down the leader, then held safe from a mild challenge in the final yards. ANOTHER MYSTERY was not asked for speed and went straight over to the rail after the break, made a four-wide sweeping move on the far turn to gain a contentious position, then finished up with a steady rally to gain the place. JOURNEY seized an uncontested lead from the start, went well clear of the field early while setting moderate fractions, had some response when set down in the stretch but could not hold off the top pair in the final yards. READ ON raced in the middle of the pack, then moved into third position through the far turn, then was unable to produce a winning kick and went evenly through the late stages. D DAY REUNION raced three-wide, was still with a chance at the top of the stretch, but lacked a finish. LAMPLIGHTER JACK pulled hard on the rider through the first turn, was let loose after passing the half, went after JOURNEY approaching the quarter pole, then faltered in the stretch. DRAMA CHORUS chased the leader two-wide through the first half-mile, then steadily retreated on the far turn and was not a factor in the late stages. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time. Copyright 2026 Equibase Company LLC. All Rights Reserved.
