Chart notes
MO' SPRESSO was in hand settling into a good rhythm drafting a little behind the leader down the backside, sat poised watching the lead duo through the turn having the fence, shifted out forcing a seam two wide in upper stretch, relentlessly wore down the pacesetter by the sixteenth pole and held safe at the wire for the score. TIME PASSES was in tight on the break, recovered to shadow the frontrunner outside down the back straight, chased through the turn closing in at the quarter pole, had her sights set on the leader three wide outside two others turning for home, grinded away never wavering to the wire, could not get to the winner late but did pick up the runners up share in the final few jumps. CAJUN INFLUENCE broke out on the start, took command from the onset, increased the advantage in midturn moving well around the bend, had the rail holding on up front in upper stretch, gave way grudgingly to the winner outside at the sixteenth pole and needed more late fading mildly nearing the wire surrendering the second place position at the wire. CHASING MEMORIES broke slightly inwards on the start, unhurried seeing the pack at the half, picked a runner inside at the five sixteenths pole, angled out in the five path finding another gearin upper stretch and finished with good interest to capture a minor placing in the end. LOVER BOY MO travelled in midfield all alone at the half mile marker, kept pace unable to gain the advantage on the lead trio throughout the turn, shifted out four wide at the top of the lane, lacked a rally in the final furlong and could not get involved in deep stretch. MUNNYSTRUCK had a stalking position ahead of only one runner along the backstretch, was relegated to the rear unable to quicken with rivals in midturn, lagged well back at the top of the lane and had nothing to offer in the late stages.
