DARE TO BE KING trailed the field for the first half of the race, split rivals getting out of last making a run at the three eighths marker, had the rail catching another foe at the top of the stretch and passed the leg weary early leader at the furlong pole. GLOBETROTTING tracked the contesting pair on the first turn outside, took closer order by the half, vied between runners up top three furlongs from the wire, could not continue on giving way in the three path at the quarter marker and faltered three wide in upper stretch. FOURLEGSGOOD dueled inside setting a brisk tempo on the first turn, disposed of the outside early speed foe by the half, was nudged for more holding on up top on the rail in the far turn, was collated outside with a quarter mile to go, offered no resistance having little energy left from his early efforts and emptied out inside rivals at the furlong marker. KING PUTT forced the quick pace to the backstretch, gave way under a drive fighting up top by the half, stopped abruptly backing through the field at the three furlong pole, lost touch with the pack at the top of the stretch, cantered home and walked off.
