Chart notes
SHOOTIN' AMY had a stalking role ahead of only one runner down the backside, started to mount a rally, picking up the bit circling foes four wide midpoint of the turn, closed in to pose the main threat three wide on the outside in upper stretch, did not switch leads in the stretch drive, nonetheless had relentless pursuit going on the leader at the furlong pole and just got up in the shadow of the wire outside for the win. EXECUTIVE SUCCESS broke inwards on the start, pressed the issue inside in the beginning, took back off the lead under a snug hold switching to the outside by the half, re-engaged outside midway on the turn, seized control by the quarter pole, still had a good advantage with a furlong to go but could not withstand the late charge by the winner in deep stretch and gave way grudgingly just at the wire. MIGHT BEE TROUBLE settled between horse in midfield, could not gain on the contesting duo while scrubbed on with five sixteenths to go, remained in the mix though just off the fence straightening out for home, was no match for the lead twosome by the eighth pole and ran in willingly to the end to be a clear third at the finish line. I'M TENACIOUS was void of early foot seeing the field down the backside, lagged behind foes into the bend, started to reach for more ground passing a runner outside in midturn, swung out widest in the six path turning for home and finished up mildly down the kane to be a fringe player outside foes into the end. MCGILL stumbled on the break, settled three deep in mid-division down the backside, closed the gap smartly between foes two wide with a quarter mile to run but lacked a rally with rivals on either side through the stretch running. REACH FOR THE TOP had the rail position sitting in the middle of the pack, dropped back at the five sixteenths pole to be at rear two furlongs from the wire and managed to pass the leg weary early leader outside at the sixteenth pole. CITORI cleared off getting to the rail all alone up front by the half, was collared outside coming to the quarter pole, offered no resistance in upper stretch having the fence and folded inside horses by the furlong marker.
