Chart notes
HAY HAY PAULA settled off the pace, began advancing swiftly outside foes four to five wide on the turn, took the lead in upper stretch and kicked clear, held. LOOKS LUCKY TO ME moved forward between foes early up the backstretch, stalked from just off the leading group mostly three wide, came out six to seven wide at the top of the stretch, made steady progress late but was not enough. DYNAMIC STRIKE was carried in a bit at the start, settled off the pace inside, moved out on the turn, fanned further coming into upper stretch seven to eight wide, gained steadily. MITOLE POWER was forwardly-positioned stalking in behind the leader, saved ground on the turn, had room at the rail to get through in range of the leader coming past mid-stretch but could only go evenly late. LOIS LEN moved forward into position stalking the leader up the backstretch into the turn, was niggled along three furlongs out, put to strong urging by the five-sixteenths in pursuit two to three wide, went evenly in the stretch and lacked the needed late kick. EMERALD LAKE settled near but just in behind mid-division racing off the inside, went evenly. LADY MOONSHINE settled off the pace, angled nine to ten wide in upper stretch, showed mild late interest. MAGIC MODIE was up close stalking mostly three to four wide, dropped back and faded. APRIL DE VELP was in tight after the start, settled at the rear, swung eight to nine wide, failed to menace. IRON PYRITE chased from outside mid-pack into the turn, went three to four wide on that bend, faded. NICE BABY shot clear soon after the start, set the pace near the inside, was asked near the quarter pole, came up empty.
