Chart notes
DREAM DANCER allowed to settle early on while never far back, chased three then four wide nearing the quarter marker, bid five wide to upper stretch and took command at the furlong marker, kicked clear into the final sixteenth then drew off in deep stretch and kept to task under moderate late hand urging. SNIPER JACK settled just off of the early leaders, tracked the decent pace two to three wide along the backstretch, was roused into the far turn and vied for the lead three wide at the quarter marker, spun four wide for the stretch drive, could not match strides with DREAM DANCER into the final furlong and bested the rest. BIG BOB settled off of the decent early pace, saved ground along the backstretch, got caught in traffic while three then four wide nearing the top of the lane, found room into the stretch then could not find the needed response into the final furlong but stayed on well late and got up in time for third. SILVER VAGGIO showed good speed away from the start and took command into the first turn, set a decent pace while prompted to the half-mile marker, dueled TATTOOONTHISTOWN into the far turn, shook free of that rival to upper stretch then was overtaken at the furlong grounds, faded in deep stretch and was outfinished for the minor awards. NUMINOUS unhurried in the early stages, roused three to four wide nearing the quarter marker, swung widest for the stretch drive and did not threaten in the final sixteenth. TATTOOONTHISTOWN was prominent away from the start, went up and prompted the decent pace along the backstretch, dueled SILVER VAGGIO into the far turn, was repelled into upper stretch then weakened in the drive. WOODLANDER rated just off of the early pace, was well placed while saving ground along the backstretch, stalked from the inside heading into the far turn, lacked the needed response nearing the furlong marker then gave way in the late stages.
