CHARLIE'S BEAUTY broke alertly then ceded the early lead to HUMOR SENSE, stalked that rival heading to the turn then went up to take command into the bend, showed the way to the quarter marker and held off foes into upper stretch, kicked clear while kept to task into the final furlong then was ridden out in the late stages to win as much the best. EARLY DELIVERY settled in the second flight leaving the start, coaxed three wide to the stretch, was not able to impact the winner into the final sixteenth but stayed on well late and earned the place honors. LA GATA SALVAJE rated just off of the early pace, was well placed to the turn and mounted a three wide bid nearing the quarter marker, chased CHARLIE'S BEAUTY into the stretch, was no match for the winner into the final furlong then was outkicked late for second. CLASSIC BALLAD settled off of the early pace, made a steady gain while three wide nearing the quarter marker, swung four wide for the stretch drive, could not sustain his run into the final furlong and flattened out late. WHAT A KNOCKOUT stumbled at the start and was off slowly, settled off of the solid early pace, coaxed three wide to the stretch and passed tiring rivals in the late stages. HUMOR SENSE prominent away from the start, went up to take early command, set a decent pace to the turn, was overtaken by CHARLIE'S BEAUTY into the bend, dropped back nearing the quarter marker then tired in the stretch drive. PARA SIEMPRE settled in mid-pack in the early running, was well placed to the turn, chased two wide and between rivals nearing the quarter marker, ran in pursuit into the stretch then faltered in the final furlong. FONTINA in a bit tight leaving the start and off a step slowly, settled outside of rivals in the early going, guided four wide along the turn, lacked the needed response to upper stretch and did not threaten late. FOR THE THRILL was forwardly placed in the early stages, chased the solid pace three wide heading to the turn, could not keep pace into the turn and came up empty in the stretch drive.
